IAM Business Analyst

About the Role

As an IAM Business Analyst, you'll bridge business needs and technical implementation, translating complex requirements into clear solutions while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.

 

In your role, you will:

  • Analyse business processes and gather requirements to improve IAM solutions
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including engineering teams, team leads, product owners, operations teams, application owners and HR
  • Create clear requirements in form of user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with IAM strategy and priorities
  • Document process diagrams, use cases and mock-ups to make requirements understandable
  • Extract and analyse data using SQL, Excel and other tools to support evidence-based decision making
  • Ensure solutions meet compliance, security and business requirements
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the strategic vision and roadmap of Workforce IAM
  • Lead process reviews and conduct meetings to share ideas and findings
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in IAM systems and best practices

 

About the Team 

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy.

As part of the Security Team, our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team provides solutions for managing user identities and access to Swiss Re information and digital services. We value teamwork and foster a positive work environment where everyone's contribution is valued.

 

About You

You solve complex problems with curiosity. Your can-do attitude and communication skills help you translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and build strong relationships. You balance attention to detail with big-picture thinking.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Experience within the Identity and Access Management domain
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in spoken and written English
  • Profound analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent documentation skills

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst
  • A degree in Computer Science, Security, Engineering or Business
  • Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud or SailPoint IIQ
  • Experience working in larger, multi-national environments
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of Spanish, German or Slovak

For Spain the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 42.000 ] and [EUR 70.000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: 
  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience. 
 
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognize your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
