IT Cloud Support Tech Lead (Hybrid setup)

Join a team of cloud infrastructure professionals and help iptiQ America's to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient! As an IT Cloud Support Tech Lead , your task will be defining the managing our Cloud setup, implementing preventive and detective security-enforcing controls, and automating monitoring and metrics. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, balancing work from home and the office premises.

About the team 

 

The Cloud Infrastructure team is responsible for managing iptiQ's IT infrastructure, Security, DevOps and IT Support. We are responsible for building and maintaining reliable and resilient infrastructure that enables us to provide best possible quality of service to our distribution partners. We are also providing support to various teams in iptiQ with matters related to IT infrastructure and related services. 

  

 

About the role 

  

  • Experienced with Azure cloud administration, demonstrated with at least one certification. 
  • Support development, QA and data science teams, leading incident management, supervising and prioritizing support tickets and making sure that issues are solved timely, RCA is performed, and permanent solutions are implemented or automated away. 
  • Supervise access provisioning and ensure security posture is maintained regarding data protection and access management. 
  • Serve as main contact between the Business, Security and global Cloud teams and iptiQ Americas cloud infrastructure team.  
  • Collaborate with infrastructure engineers during the implementation and maintaining of azure infrastructure focusing on availability management and incident minimization. 

 

 

About you 

 

  • You have good interpersonal skills and are able to work proactively and serve as SME for other members of the team. 
  • Desired skills in Azure cloud, SOP creation and L3 customer centricity. 
  • The role requires working during US business hours (10am -6pm CET) and sometimes during maintenance windows. 

 

Nice-to-have 

  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including usage of tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps 
  • Microsoft, CISSP, CCSP, SANS GIAC or similar qualifications
