Incoming Case Coordinator (Hybrid)

About the Role
As an Incoming Case Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience to our global corporate clients and brokers. Acting as the first point of contact for incoming requests, you will ensure efficient task coordination, accurate triaging of client inquiries, and smooth payment processing activities.
You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing client requests, identifying the appropriate course of action, and routing tasks to the relevant teams to ensure timely and accurate execution. In addition, you will support payment allocation, account statement inquiries, and premium booking processes, contributing directly to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Serve as a central coordination point for incoming client and broker requests, ensuring timely handling and clear communication.

Review incoming emails and documentation, assess requirements, and distinguish between new transactions, amendments, and general inquiries.

Assign and route tasks to the appropriate Operations teams to ensure efficient processing and excellent service delivery.

Accurately process and allocate client payments in line with business requirements and support payment reconciliation activities.

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or escalate issues where required.

Support clients with account statements and payment-related inquiries while maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism.

Support the issuance and administration of bonds and guarantees for the DACH region.

Collaborate closely with Operations teams across multiple markets and locations to ensure smooth task coordination and service delivery.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and business partners.
About the Team
The Surety Europe Operations team is responsible for the local issuance of bonds and guarantees across Europe, ensuring efficient and accurate execution of surety transactions. The Surety Europe Team is a growing and dynamic international team closely collaborating with Surety business unit. Driven by strong customer orientation and service excellence, we support profitable business growth while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
Our team operates across several European locations, including Germany and Spain, offering a multicultural and collaborative work environment.
About You
Essential
-
Completed commercial education preferably banking specialist or bachelor studies in economics or international trade or job experience equivalent to the related fields.

First experience in Trade Finance or in the bank area.

Previous experience in a client-facing role preferably in a finance environment.

Strong communication skills in both English and German (written and spoken).
-
Demonstrate good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office especially Excel.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.

High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
-
Experience with trade finance transaction processing or credit insurance products or similar role involving task management.

Experience in payment allocation and reconciliation.

Additional language skills, particularly French or Italian.

Familiarity with workflow or task management systems.

Experience working within an international and cross-functional environment.

For Spain the annual base salary range for this position is between EUR 27 000 and EUR 45 000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
