About the Role
 

You will be working within our calculation team responsible for pricing, applying your mathematical knowledge to insurance pricing. We will train you in programming and actuarial science to make you able to collaborate with our software engineers to implement the next generation of insurance pricing calculation service.

Some examples of work assignments and key responsibilities:

• Define insurance products in our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product to allow our customers to implement their own B2C insurance digital solution
• Get along with insurance pricing experts to understand the insurance product specifications and translating the insurance product specifications in technical implementation in our SaaS product
• Ensure that our Saas product provides the expected pricing for the insurance products, implementing and automatizing the proper testing strategy
• Improve the SaaS product adding new features required by new insurance products in collaboration with the software engineers
• Work side-by-side with the software engineers to optimize the pricing calculation performance

About Team

The Prod&Policy team is composed by 14 members from different nationality. The team includes back-end software engineers, actuaries, and domain owner. The team is responsible for 7 services, including the Calculation service which is the one that generate the quotes for the policies.

Also, you have..

• Relevant education Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physic or another related technical field
• Knowledge in software development in Java
• Proficiency in English
• Leave in a range of 2h commute from the office
