People Operations Intern
This is an exciting opportunity for a student/recent graduate to help executing the people agenda in a complex and international environment. Our People agenda is focused on building a meaningful impact on people's lives. Supporting Swiss Re, business unit colleagues and the local People team, your focus will be supporting the day-to-day onboarding and payroll operations in the Spanish team, driving operational excellence, and championing agile change. It will be a part-time internship (mornings) as of August or September 2026 with a duration of 5 months.
About the Role
As a People Operations Intern you will work together with the Spanish HR Team, providing dedicated support with a wide range of People administrative tasks. Your main tasks will be:
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with the preparation of employment offers and employment contracts.
- Provide administrative support for the employee benefits enrollment process.
- Prepare reports and perform data analysis related to the People department.
- Ensure the accurate filing and maintenance of employee documentation.
- Carry out general People administrative tasks, including time management, HR compliance, payroll administration, and other day-to-day operational activities.
- Support internal communications within the People function.
- Act as a point of contact for new joiners throughout their onboarding journey.
- Provide support to the People Manager and the People Operations team if required.
About the Team
We support our internal customers based in Spain but also work closely with HR global functions and centers of expertise such as Rewards, Recruitment and Diversity Equity and Inclusion. We're a friendly curious team that is always working to improve our processes et be more efficient.
About You
We are looking for an inquisitive communicator who is confident about interacting with both candidates and internal clients (our employees). You work effectively within a team as well as independently and can plan, organize and follow-up on short-term priorities.
Essentials:
- Being eligible for an internship (signed agreement with University / Business School)
- Spanish speaker with excellent level of business English as all our communications are in English.

- Degree in Human Resources and International Management
