About the Role

Join the Corporate Solutions team of Property Risk Engineers on our journey to become the leading service provider in the commercial insurance world! You will closely collaborate with clients and brokers as the technical owner of all Risk Management property-related matters with a focus to our Iberian book-of-business, also with the opportunity to service customers in other regions. You will review, interpret and build your specialist opinion based on third party risk information, conduct prospect visits and develop a strategic servicing plan for our customers.

You will also lead your own field-engineering visits, set priorities and targets for risk improvement and partner with our customers to develop a long-term relationship. We will help you to grow into the account engineer role and based on your skills, you will develop to become a specialist in dedicated core industries or subject matters. This includes driving various projects, initiatives, development and implementation of strategies, crafting standard methodologies, guidelines or papers and industry updates or developing new innovative service offerings.

About the Team 

As a member of our global Risk Engineering Services (RES) community, you will be fully embedded in the CorSo RES Team and play a significant role in the Iberian deal Team. Based on your skills, you will develop to become a specialist in dedicated core industries or subject matters. This includes driving various projects, initiatives, development and implementation of strategies, creating standard methodologies, guidelines or papers and industry updates or developing new innovative service offerings. About You

We are looking for highly motivated (risk) engineers with strong interpersonal, technical and analytical skills, who have a passion for loss prevention and control. You have a Bachelor, Master or PhD degree with up to 2-5 years professional experience. You are curios, learning new things every day and have an affinity to look beyond, analyzing data and identifying trends and risks? Required:

• University degree or equivalent in Engineering or Chemistry
• 3-5 years of professional experience in insurance, at a risk engineering service provider or in a related industry
• Strong interest to learn about insurance and risk engineering
• Team-player, actively contributing to the overall team result and spirit
• Service mindedness for internal and external partners
• Mature & self-confident; able to work with clients, business partners or senior colleagues
• Strong analytical skills with high affinity to technology, data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Office, databases and statistics) and digital solutions
• Entrepreneurial mind-set focused on delivering results
• Ability and drive to work independently and proactively
• Willingness to travel – mainly within Europe
• Driving license

Preferable:

• Language skills: Spanish and English (business fluent), other languages are an advantage (e.g. Portuguese)

For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 47,000 and EUR 78,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: ​

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,​

• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​
