Security Engineering Team Lead & Scrum Master (Hybrid set up)

As the Continuous Security Assurance Engineering Tech Team Lead, you'll be responsible for upgrading the vulnerability management platform and services. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises. 

 

About the team 

 

We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance, and defining as well as advancing the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, Continuous Security Assurance (CSA) Engineering involves the development and implementation of processes, tools, and strategies for identifying, assessing, and remedying vulnerabilities, and ensuring the tools used are fit for use and purpose. We're looking for a skilled Technical Team Lead who will take on this unique and exciting opportunity to finding the best solutions, guiding a dedicated team of experts and delivering a high-quality service. 

 

About the role

 

  • Own the Vulnerability Management (VM) and CSA platforms and ensure their effectiveness. 

  • Provide clear career development path and build opportunities for continuous learning and growth for the team. 

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to deliver the benefits and strategy. 

  • Foster sound DevSecOps practices to ensure the continuous development of the platforms. 

  • Work closely with architecture, incident response, threat intelligence, and other relevant teams in security to achieve our goals. 

  • Drive the initiative to revise Swiss Re's Vulnerability Management services and the corresponding feature roadmap. 

  • Work with CSA Operations to deliver an effective Vulnerability Management Service 

 

About you

 

  • Ability to present sophisticated vulnerability management topics to different audiences with varying technical levels. 

  • Experience with project management and organisational change. 

  • Familiarity with leading vulnerability management solutions such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or Nessus and experience with Cloud-based vulnerability management technologies and environments such as Azure or AWS 

  • Knowledge of vulnerability management in DevOps and agile methodologies 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and able to communicate technical concepts clearly and with ease. 

 

You should be well-versed in these areas 

 

  • Vulnerability Management 

  • Governance, risk, compliance in a highly regulated industry 

  • Business process (re-)engineering 

 

Nice-to-have 

 

  • Experience as a Scrum Master 

  • A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field 

  • Experience with programming languages and application design & architecture 

  • Proficiency in German, Spanish or Slovak
