Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, in a central DevSecOps team, you will be responsible to design, assess and implement solutions to address our infrastructure and security requirements for central CI/CD Platform (Microsoft Azure Devops / GitHub Enterprise). Platforms and tools we use at Swiss Re include Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, AquaSec, Terraform, Python, GitHub just to name a few.

"DevSecOps Platform" team is part of Group Technology Servies(GTS), in SwissRe. Our team is globally distributed. And our vision is to revolutionize software delivery by empowering developers with cutting-edge solutions, promoting collaboration, agility, and excellence. We aim to elevate the developer experience through innovative approaches that prioritise security, compliance, and seamless integration.
About you:
- Strong experience working in Microsoft ecosystem - Development experience in .Net, windows system administration, and working with various Microsoft Azure services (Azure Functions, App Service, Event Grid, Event Hub, Service Bus, etc).
- Extensive expertise with CI/CD solutions (Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise), version control (Git), artifact management (Artifactory), code quality (Sonar), and artifact security (Nexus IQ, Aqua).
- Significant experience in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python).
- Proven track record in setting up and managing CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TFS, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, etc.
- Proficient in container orchestration with Kubernetes in public cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with the ELK stack for managing and visualizing large volumes of logs.
- Experienced in the development and deployment of cloud-native applications, preferably on Microsoft technology.
- Familiarity with migrations from one DevOps platform to another is a plus.
- Exposure to GenAI and LLMs would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and setup.
- Proficient in designing and architecting IT solutions.
- Competent in managing/solving major incidents effectively with excellent customer communication.
- Demonstrates strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, applying them in complex and uncertain situations. Able to analyze data and information, make informed and timely decisions, anticipate and resolve issues, implement solutions effectively, and balance the needs and interests of various stakeholders.

For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 60,000] and [EUR 100,000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
