Senior Digital Governance Expert (Hybrid set up)

Join a team of digital risk governance and security professionals, helping Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As a Senior Deigital Rik Expert , you'll drive the digital risk governance process by engaging with our customers and advisors  in IT and business domains. You will be a key member of the Digital Governance Framework (DGF) Operation team, responsible for managing change control, reviewing process quality, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, and building an efficient risk management process. You will also actively raise risks to senior management.

 

 

About the team

 

The Security Teams is responsible for all security activities across Swiss Re, including cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, and compliance. We define and advance the company's security. As a part of the Security Team, the Digital Governance Centre of Excellnce provides  first-hand regulatory guidance and manages Swiss Re's Digital Governance Framework (DGF), enabling risk mitigation for sustainable tech and data-driven solutions.

We are seeking a risk expert to hepl reduce complexity and increase the efficiency of our operational process while familiarizing non-technical audiences and partners with our services.

 

 

In your role, you will…

 

  • Plan, manage, and execute medium to large-sized process improvement initiatives for a risk assessment framework
  • Be part of the DGF Operation team, setting up processes and managing ticket handling.
  • Support operational leadership capabilities within the team.
  • Manage change management of the governance framework, ensuring new emerging risks are properly embedded.
  • Deliver a smooth and valuable experience to our customers, minimizing friction during the onboarding of digital services and clearly explaining technical infomration to diverse audiences.
  • Support our customers in fulfilling DGF requiirements and guide them through theoverall process, providing clarification where necessary.
  • Drive quick resolutions of customer/DGF partner concerns.
  • Collect continuous feedback across all customer touchpoints and seek creative solutions to improve the teams´s overal efficiency.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, and communicate results to multipl stakeholders, auditors, and global leadership teams.

 

 

 

Your qualifications

 

What we need from you

 

  • A Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in a relevant area, such as Computer Science or a relate IT field.
  • 10+ years of work experience, with at least 3-4 years of experience leading IT system assestments, problem management, and risk management processes.
  • Demonstrable experience leading IT processes/projects, including planning, prioritizing, and administering work.
  • A good understanding of technical solution design, technology architectures, and emerging technologies and Cloud environments, such as AWS and Azure.
  • The ability to break down complex technical topics and communicate them in a clear and relatable way.
  • Proactivity and collaboration, with a strong client orientation and flexibility.
  • Willingnes to guide customers through risk governance process and tool usage, following through on conflictúissue resolutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, accustomed to working on parallel tasks and projects with a geagraphically dispersed team,
  • Results-focused, eager to make valuable contributions to the team by showing initiative.

 

Nice to have

  • Programming skills and the ability to write SQl queries.
