Senior Endpoints Engineer

The Employee Workplace team is looking for a Senior Workplace System Engineer with focus on developing and supporting managed Microsoft Windows based workplaces. 


You will have: 

Technical Expertise:  

  • Support the Endpoints team and Digital Workplace with your expert knowledge in desktop management, particularly in highly secure environments. 

  • Develop and integrate new features, products and services 

  • Plan, design and implement the endpoint management architecture 

  • Support the automation around managing secure environments 

  • Support the team with your knowledge of endpoint security aspects 

  • Act as level 4 troubleshooting/support for the team (no on-call duty) 

  • Virtualization - Citrix, W365 knowledge a plus 

  • ZTNA knowledge a plus 


Complex Issue Resolution:  

  • Ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 


Adaptability and Learning:  

  • Willingness to upskill, adapt to new technologies whilst maintaining and engineering existing products 


Configuration Management:

  • Use Intune to manage device- and application configuration for our Windows endpoints. 

  • Deploy, track and document changes to device configurations. 

  • Ensure all devices are consistently and properly configured to meet organizational requirements. 

  • Support the operational support teams with expert advice when required. 


Enterprise Security & Compliance:

  • Design and implement security configurations to safeguard company data and assets. 

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. 

  • Remediate vulnerabilities in device-configuration and supporting infrastructure. 

  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments to verify device configurations align with security and compliance.

  • You are proficient with Microsoft Intune. 

  • You have a good understanding of security principles with a focus on network, application security, and certificate handling. 

  • You have networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills. 

  • You have experience in device configuration management. 

  • You are an expert in cloud services, and operating systems. 

  • You are an exceptional problem-solver and troubleshooter.
