Senior IAM/ISC Engineer

Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As a Senior IAM/ISC Engineer for Identity & Access Management (IAM), you will be responsible for configuring, integrating and maintaining the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless identity lifecycle management, access governance and compliance.  

What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

 

About the team 

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. Within it, the IAM ensures secure, scalable, and efficient access to digital services. Our focus includes migrating to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), automating processes and applying a risk-based approach that meets regulatory standards. 

We're seeking a skilled ISC Engineer to help shape Swiss Re's IAM landscape, who will play a key part in delivering secure, scalable and compliant identity solutions – meeting the needs of our business stakeholders. Over time, the candidate should aim to transition into an IAM Architect role.

In your role, you will be responsible for…  

  • System configuration & integration: 
    • Configure SailPoint ISC through Terraform 
    • Manage connectors and integrate with external systems 
    • Use Azure DevOps and Terraform to deploy ISC Configuration 
  • Rule & workflow development: 
    • Write Java (BeanShell) rules (e.g., Before-provisioning rules). 
    • Create JSON-based transform rules for attribute mapping 
    • Define workflows for identity lifecycle management 
  • Collaboration & documentation: 
    • Work closely with SailPoint and other stakeholders 
    • Manage tickets with SailPoint support 
    • Document configurations and perform integration testing. 

 

Your qualifications

Required skills 

  • 4+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM) 
  • Practical expertise with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and IdentityNow (including Sources, Connectors, workflows) 
  • Solid grasp of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), including provisioning, access reviews, certifications, and RBAC 
  • Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and system integrations (cloud + on-prem, APIs) 
  • Proficiency in Java, BeanShell, JSON, and Terraform 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and Agile development 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills (English)
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for IAM as a driver of business value 

 

Preferred qualifications 

  • SailPoint ISC Engineer qualification 
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, GitHub) 

 

Nice-to-have 

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable  
  • Past experience with IdentityIQ (IIQ) 
  • Solid knowledge in governance, risk, and compliance in a highly regulated industry 
  • Past experience working in an agile environment 
  • Ability to present complex topics towards different audiences on diverse technical levels 

 

 

For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 60,000] and [EUR 100,000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers: ​

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,​
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.​

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.​
