Senior M365 Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect (Hybrid)

About the Role

You would play a central role in all aspects of the Swiss Re Digital Workplace. Be ready to deal with end to end solution design and implementation of new services and capabilities and be in charge to continously enhance and improve security, compliance, governance, as well as technical aspects like automation, around our Microsoft 365 platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous development of the Microsoft 365 core platform including identifying, evaluating, and deploying new platform capabilities, processes, and solutions to meet security, compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Design, implement and operationalize Microsoft 365 security, governance and compliance controls to mitigate identified risks and meet SwissRe internal standards

  • Drive technical security policy improvements with Swiss Re stakeholders

  • Assist in third level support cases interfacing both with Microsoft and internal teams

  • Drive operational excellence and automation

  • Ensure SwissRe Microsoft 365services and platform meet dynamically developing security and compliance requirements, and continuously improve M365 service security posture, including creation of run books, training and knowledge transfer

About You

You are a self-starter with hands-on mentality, willingness to adapt and grow, who feels comfortable in complex and fast-paced environments and is ready to challenge colleagues and breaking status quo.

Moreover, you will need:

  • Expert knowledge of M365 platform, MIP, DLP, Defender ATP, Threat analytics and other Microsoft related Security and Compliance offerings

  • Very good knowledge of individual M365 services and architecture, data governance, as well as IT Security concepts in general

  • Strong development and automation skills

  • Understand underlying components in the space of Identity and Access Management, Azure Active Directory as well as authorization and authentication concepts

  • Good knowledge of Azure, DevSecOps, Networking, Data management and visualisation

  • General affinity for compliance, legal and regulatory topics

  • Fluent English and good communication skills at all levels of the organisation

Nice to have

  • Experience in a global, multi-national enterprise, preferably in the insurance and financial sector

  • Experience working in agile SCRUM methodology
