Senior Product Owner APM & SACM (hybrid)

About the role:

We're seeking a new colleague to lead our initiatives. Positioned within the IT Resilience team, you'll play a key role in integrating APM and SACM with our resilience strategy. You will maintain a well-structured IT portfolio across data centers as well as private and public cloud providers, ensuring effective oversight of IT assets and Configuration Items (CIs), and optimizing the application portfolio management- as well as configuration management- processes to align with our business objectives.

 

In your role, you:

  • Lead and grow our team, promoting strong collaboration and growth.

  • Drive APM and SACM initiatives for Swiss Re's IT portfolio, ensuring optimal oversight.

  • Foster stakeholder engagement for cohesive IT asset management across critical functions, like IT Infrastructure and Cyber Defense.

  • Align APM and SACM with IT resilience strategies, serving as primary liaison for internal and external queries.

  • Support Product Owners, setting KPIs aligned with Business Goals and fostering best practices for enhanced data-driven decision-making.

  • Maintain process integrity for audits and governance validation.

  • Oversee the process of IT Asset inclusion and validation, ensuring the inventory's coverage, completeness, and reliability as a trusted source

  • Define Critical Success Factors and manage requirements for our processes.

Your qualifications

Essentials:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in APM and SACM, with a focus on IT Asset Inventory and application portfolio management as well as technical dependencies.
  • Strong Leadership skills with a talent for stakeholder engagement and team development.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of integrating complex IT processes with business strategies.
  • Proven success in managing process standards and fostering continuous improvement.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in process audits and improvement cycles.
  • Proficiency in analyzing technical dependencies, data flows, and their impact on business services.
  • Knowledge and experience in identifying the need for and in onboarding new CI types, including integrations using API-driven technologies and other data import methods.
  • Track record in leading APM and SACM service performance and process board meetings.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Enterprise Service Management Platform

 

About the Team

Our team plays a pivotal role in maintaining IT Continuity, Resilience, and Disaster Recovery capabilities at Swiss Re. We focus on mitigating risks of unavailability and ensuring prioritized recovery of IT Services during major disruptions. As part of the IT Resilience unit, we drive APM and SACM initiatives, contributing significantly to the management of IT assets and fostering a culture of information insight. Our approach incorporates modern operating models and technologies, including Cloud, SaaS, Dev(Sec)Ops, and IaC, ensuring that our resilience measures are always at the forefront of innovation.

 

 

The role is in a hybrid set up - (50% working from the office, 50% of home office)
