About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at iptiQ by SwissRE, you'll be more than just a coder; you'll be a technology pioneer. Your role will not only involve coding but also innovating our global platform. From enhancing our state-of-the-art continuous delivery pipeline to spearheading the evolution of our real-time data mesh, you’ll be a key driver of technological advancement.
Technology Stack
- Backend: Kotlin, Java, SpringBoot
- Frontend: ReactJS, TypeScript
- Cloud: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
- Data: Apache Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Monitoring and Logging: Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana
- CI/CD: GitLab
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize Our Global CI/CD Pipeline: Take our deployment strategies to the next level for faster and safer rollouts.
- Automate for Resilience: Create and refine automated tests to bolster platform reliability and performance.
- Dabble in Data Mesh: Enhance the real-time functionalities of our data lake, laying the groundwork for a future data mesh architecture.
- Be the Documentation Guru: Continuously improve libraries, guidelines, and documentation for more effective onboarding and development.
- Mentorship: Coach junior engineers, leading by example in quality and innovation.

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities

- Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices
