About the role

We are looking for a (Senior) M365 Workplace Engineer - focus Collaboration and Document Management Platform who brings expert skills and experience of the M365 Collaboration and Document Management capabilities (SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Enterprise Search).

 

In this role you will:

  • Contribute to Swiss Re's healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone engages in continuous risk accountability activities
  • Design, engineer and implement new capabilities for our M365 collaboration and document management platform.
  • Design, engineer and implement ongoing improvements around end user experience, performance, scalability and security, automation considering customer requirements, company standards and engineering best-practices.
  • Closely work with internal control functions and stakeholders to manage and ensure compliance with internal and external e.g., for data retention and deletion, data privacy, classification, protection and archiving.
  • Lead or support data migration projects (e.g. from Windows File Servers to SharePoint online, or to Records Management solutions like Documentum).
  • Make active use of data analytics and data visualisation for both operational as well as other purposes.
  • Act as technical lead and mentor for more junior team members to support their growth.
  • Get exposed to the latest and greatest technologies from Microsoft, including Copilot.

You should bring some years of experience in a similar role and have a track record of successful delivery.

 

You will need

  • Expert knowledge in M365 platform and services, with focus on M365 collaboration and information management (SPO, OD4B, Teams, Enterprise Search). 
  • Expertise around other data repository platforms, e.g., cloud and on-premises shared drives and record management platforms (e.g. Documentum) as well as foundational topics, such as data security, governance and compliance.
  • Strong development and automation skills. 
  • Good working knowledge of Power Platform, data analytics, logging and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Good working knowledge of underlying components in the space of Azure cloud, Identity and Access Management, Entra ID Directory as well as provisioning concepts.
  • Fluent English and good communication skills at all levels of the organisation. 
  • A keen interest to continuously learn and grow to meet the ever-changing technological and environmental needs.

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with Copilot Studio and M365 Copilot.
  • Experience in a dynamic, global, multi-national enterprise, preferably with experience in the insurance and financial sector.
  • Experience working in agile SCRUM methodology.
