Team Lead - Customer Identity and Access Management (Hybrid option)

As the leader for the Customer Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, you will lead a team as both Scrum Master and manager, mentoring your crew of technical experts towards a high level of dedication as well as inspiring and driving innovation and technical excellence. About the team
The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the Customer IAM team provides a user-friendly experience for external customers of IAM services within Swiss Re. We're looking for an experienced professional with a passion to build up and lead an impactful agile development team.
In your role, you will…

Lead a security team for Swiss Re

Be accountable for the team's solution delivery; contribute to the team's content work using your expertise (depending on the need), including high-quality, threat-driven detection and the availability of the required logs in our SIEM (security information and event management)

Use your skills in software development to support and challenge the team to use productive approaches and Ways of Working

Lead, inspire, and develop the team by establishing an environment enabling autonomy and mastery for all team members

Build up team cohesion, shared values, and mutual trust

Safeguard the team's wellbeing, keep the morale high, and put the team in the best position to succeed

As Scrum Master, help the team be effective and coach it in agile practices

Provide a development programme which enables all staff to continuously enhance their skills and provide space for continuous learning and growth for the team
Your qualifications
What we need from you

Experience in software development or IT, including large, complex applications and projects

Experience and a high level of motivation as a leader for an international team with the ability to work in a hybrid setting

Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of building impactful security teams

Experience in leading teams in complex and dynamic environments, driving continuous improvement and self-organisation

A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, customer centrism and composure under pressure

Good communication skills in English

Understanding that it takes a diverse set of skills and individuals to form a highly effective team

Actively contribute to the development of our overall strategy as an active member of the leadership group
Nice-to-have

5+ years' experience in software development or IT, including large, complex applications and projects

Working knowledge of Scrum

3+ years' experience and a high level of motivation as a leader for an international team with the ability to work in a hybrid setting

A degree in computer science, information technology, or comparable knowledge

Working knowledge of DevSecOps, Kanban, Scrum or other agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks

Experience with enterprise application development using Java

Experience with diverse IT technologies

Knowledge of Information Security, Identity and Access Management
