Tech Team Lead – Privileged Access Management (Hybrid option)

As the leader for the Identity & Access Management Solutions team, you will lead a team as both Scrum Master and manager, mentoring your crew of technical experts towards a high level of dedication as well as inspiring and driving innovation and technical excellence. What's more, you will be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises. 

About the team 

The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the Privileged Access Management team provides a user-friendly experience for internal customers of IAM services within Swiss Re. We're looking for an experienced professional with a passion to build up and lead an impactful agile development team. 

In your role, you will… 

• Lead a security team for Swiss Re 
• Be accountable for the team's solution delivery; contribute to the team's content work using your expertise –depending on the need 
• Use your skills in software development to support and challenge the team to use productive approaches and Ways of Working 
• Lead, inspire, and develop the team by establishing an environment enabling autonomy and mastery for all team members 
• Build up team cohesion, shared values, and mutual trust 
• Safeguard the team's wellbeing, keep the morale high, and put the team in the best position to succeed 
• As Scrum Master, help the team be effective and coach it in agile practices 
• Provide a development programme which enables all staff to continuously enhance their skills and provide space for continuous learning and growth for the team  

What we need from you 

• Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of building impactful security teams 
• Knowledge of Privileged Access Management technologies and principles 
• Experience in leading teams in complex and dynamic environments, driving continuous improvement and self-organisation 
• Relevant work experience in software development or IT, including large, complex applications and projects 
• Working knowledge of Scrum 
• Demonstrated expertise and a high level of motivation as a leader for an international team with the ability to work in a hybrid setting 
• A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure 
• Good communication skills in English  
• Belief in continuous innovation, curiosity, and relentless search for a better way every day  
• Understanding that it takes a diverse set of skills and individuals to form a highly effective team  

Nice-to-have 

• A degree in computer science, information technology, or comparable knowledge 
• Working knowledge of DevOps, Kanban, or other agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks 
• Experience with enterprise application development using Java 
• Experience with diverse IT technologies 
• Knowledge of Information Security, Identity and Access Management
