Are you ready to shape the future of how over 17,000 people work, connect, and collaborate every day? If you are passionate about modern endpoint engineering and thrive in a cloud-first, security-conscious environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and skilled Modern Workplace Engineer to join our Digital Workplace team in Madrid. In this role, you'll be a key driver in evolving our endpoint management landscape towards a cloud-native, Intune-first approach, ensuring our 17,000+ employees stay productive, secure, and connected wherever they work. If you love building modern, automated endpoint solutions and have a keen eye for security, we'd love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and manage modern endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and cloud-native management tools across the organisation.

  • Support and optimise Microsoft 365 Apps deployment, lifecycle management and end-user experience.

  • Provide expert troubleshooting and support for complex endpoint issues, working collaboratively with the team to diagnose, resolve and document solutions effectively.

  • Collaborate with the agile Endpoints team to develop and integrate new workplace features, products and services.

  • Champion Swiss Re's healthy and transparent risk culture by actively engaging in continuous risk accountability activities.

You value continuous improvement, peer collaboration, and building solutions that are not only effective today but resilient and adaptable for the future. You thrive in agile environments and take pride in delivering high-quality, well-documented outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune as the primary endpoint management tool, including device configuration, compliance policies and application deployment.

  • Proven expertise with Windows Autopilot for zero-touch device provisioning and deployment in enterprise environments.

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security management, including threat and vulnerability management and security baselines.

  • Strong proficiency in Azure AD / Entra ID, including Conditional Access policies, SSO, MFA and identity-driven endpoint security.

  • Hands-on PowerShell scripting experience, including automation via Microsoft Graph API for endpoint management tasks.

Additional Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with co-management (SCCM + Intune) and familiarity with transitioning from on-premise to cloud-native endpoint management.

  • Knowledge of Windows 365 and/or Azure Virtual Desktop environments.

  • Familiarity with Windows Autopatch for automated update management.

  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 Apps lifecycle, including deployment, updates and user experience optimisation.

  • Understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles and their application in endpoint management.
