Platform Product & Strategy Manager (80-100%)

At Swiss Re we are building a Risk Data & Service Platform (RDS) with an aim to deliver outstanding risk insights and services to our customers based on risk data and sophisticated analytics to make corporates and ultimately the world more resilient. We are looking for an outstanding analytical problem solver to join a cross functional team!

You would work closely with the Head Platform, the Head Risk Data Solutions and the UX lead designer to further develop and build the platform offerings jointly with the Engineering teams.

You would be advancing the build-up, growth, and success of the platform and service offering on the path from early commercial clients to rapid scaling. Key responsibilities will include:

Turn user needs into tangible product features and service offerings

• Translate identified user needs into concrete engineering development items (i.e. perform business analysis and research, articulate user stories)

• Optimize existing and design new user journeys on the platform together with the UX team

• Evaluate design trade-offs and strive for simple, efficient solutions in close collaboration with CTO and Architecture Lead

• Further shape value proposition of the platform offering in collaboration with the Head Platform and the Sales team

Drive technical delivery of the product

• Maintain product backlog and facilitate development process with cross-functional engineering team in line with client priorities and following agile methodologies

• Be responsible for delivery against roadmap & key achievements, tracking progress and proactively raising and resolving issues

• Define test cases for successful implementation and review product development progress

Ensure customer success on the platform

• Collaborate with platform engineering team to ensure service uptime and availability in line with committed service levels

• Coordinate client deployments of product updates in close cooperation with Release Manager

• Drive product documentation to enable self-service usage (e.g. creating manuals, fact sheets, tutorials)

About You

We are looking for a Platform Product & Strategy Manager with a passion for technology and innovation talented in structured thinking and execution:

• Track record of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with delivery of complex digital solutions and / or product management, incl. coordination of cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies

• Excellent communication skills in English on different levels of seniority

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a pragmatic and hands-on approach focused on achieving progress as well as an open-minded, intellectually curious approach to everything you do
