Associate Client Accounting Services
About the role
Data Analytics
- Manage systems, MS Office, database queries, excel macros and pivot tables.
- Has keen eye to details and can identify the outliers if not as per contractual terms.
Claims Payment
- Ensure that claims are paid within the time limits established in the processes/contracts.
Contract Knowledge / Premium Rate Validation
- Knowledge of contractual clauses that affect the area (Cancellation clause, Payment Guarantee, Insured Values, Rates, taxes, etc.)
- Perform premium rate validation to ensure we are receiving the right premiums from client.
- Perform reconciliation between client reported figures and Swiss Re's contract.
Cash handling and reconciliation
- Analysis of unallocated cash balances & accruals.
- Analysis of bookings movements in relation to expected figures.
- Sending chasers to the client for outstanding payment and accounts.
- Sending debit or credit notes corresponding to external clients.
Insurance / Reinsurance understanding
- Is aware of the concepts and terminologies in Insurance and Reinsurance.
- Is interested in learning about market trends and different lines of business.
- Is aware of the different legislations and accountant information from different markets region.
Stakeholder Management / Teamwork
- Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to strengthening client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members and take ownership for team activities in specific markets.
- Be team player to achieve team KPI´s & Goals.
About You
- Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or similar)
- Intermediate English language, reading, written and verbal.
- Maintains a consistent high level of productivity.
- Demonstrates a sense of optimism, ownership, and commitment.
- Consistently improve business results and client satisfaction.
- Strong service and client orientation.
- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and digital literacy-proficiency in MS Office (Word, Power Point and Excel especially).
- Being An agile team player with the ability to manage own workload and demonstrates a sense of Accountable, Responsible and Commitment
- Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills enabling to drive resulted oriented outcomes
