CorSo Business Services Team Lead

About the Role

The position holder is responsible for managing a team of Underwriting Analysts in the Corporate Solutions section.

The Team Leader sets clear priorities, manages the team, including goal setting and performance reviews, approves time sheet and vacations, provides guidance and leadership to the team and handles various other managerial topics as required. 

These are the main tasks that we perform on daily basis:

• Leading the Underwriting Analysts and Business Services Support for Corporate Solutions
• Managing the team according to Swiss Re best practice
• Coaching, assigning and monitoring of the work of team members
• Ensuring performance through setting and measuring KPIs of the team and the individuals
• Growing of future team leaders by developing subject matter expert skills within the team
• Identification of training needs and organization of training activities for team members
• Establishing and ensuring best practice collaboration with the local business service expert teams and client management in all markets
• Representing Corporate Solutions Business Services Support in Mexico towards other functions

• Representing the team towards Underwriters, Client Management and other functions outside of Mexico(stakeholder management)
• Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor, provide cover for roles in other teams, and any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time

• Ability to develop and lead a team of 10 people
