Process Excellence Specialist

We are offering an exciting opportunity to define and implement, simplified and strengthened practices for handling of the L&H treaty life cycle – from onboarding to claims payments, leveraging technology to enable the delivery of exceptional services by Operations.
Major responsibilities:

Support in the design and implementation of business process improvements and required capabilities through leveraging data and tooling solutions

Work with business networks to identify opportunities for improvement. Leverage knowledge of and insight to the business challenges and market considerations.

Support in the execution of initiatives and projects, prioritising effectively to implement changes

Develop structured business cases with clear benefit realisation metrics
-
Enable adoption of changes by working closely with the Operations teams to support them
-
Work with stakeholders to ensure handoffs and dependencies are well addressed and work smoothly

Develop and measure process adherence and other key performance metrics

Work with colleagues across Business Architecture to leverage reporting and quality insights to steer process improvements

Represent Operations in organisational initiatives
About the team
The team consists of 8+ members currently located in different offices across key Swiss Re offices globally, working closely with the Market Units, COO teams, Risk management and IT partners.
You would be working as part of a wider CoE team, which also covers risk and quality and skills and capabilities pillars, and an integrated approach across these pillars is critical.

You have proven track record in delivery and execution.

You have deep knowledge of L&H processes and bring an e2e mindset

You have demonstrable experience or previous exposure to either: process design/improvement, change management

You work effectively with various stakeholders across the value chain and can easily move between operational, technical and technology topics. You adopt a partnership mindset.

You have an eye for improvement and a preference to work with simple and pragmatic approaches

You have excellent communication, interpersonal and influential skills

You have the ability and courage to constructively challenge the status quo

You bring a college degree or equivalent work experience as well as excellent command of spoken and written English
