Senior Financial Accountant (Hybrid Work Model 50%/50%)

You can be part of the amazing Corporate Solutions Mexico Reporting team, who is responsible for financial management and financial reporting according to local statutory accounting policies and economic valuation principles for Corporate Solutions legal entities in Mexico.

As a member of the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions team in Mexico, you will:
•    Be responsible for the effective and efficient local operations and statutory reporting of the Corporate Solutions legal entities in Mexico
•    Implement/collaborate in all financial processes (including IT platforms), and other workflows needed for the operation with regulatory requirements; end to end approach
•    Be responsible for all local accounting matter including the following: receivables, payables, expense control, account reconciliations, financial statements, fixed assets, etc.
•    Support the Team Lead and Head of Finance decision-making by providing timely and relevant financial information and analysis to all relevant stakeholders in order to optimize profitability and capital efficiency
•     Ensure that the internal control environment is compliant with local regulation

•    More than 5 years of related work experience in the insurance / reinsurance business and regulatory reporting environment required
•    University degree (Accounting or Finance)
•    Experienced in USGAAP/IFRS desirable
•    Experience with applying accounting, regulatory and compliance standards across Mexican operations/entities
•    Team player with clear communication skills
•    Relationship builder - ability to influence in a complex, cross-functional environment
•    Demonstrates expertise as a change agent, both culturally and functionally
•    Fluent English and Spanish language; any other language is a plus
