About the team

We are the Americas Sourcing Team, who are accountable for end-to-end sourcing activities across all categories of spend cross-divisionally in our region. Our team carries on Regional Strategy in alignment with global Category Strategies.  We execute the plan to deliver value, improve quality, optimize cost and mitigate risk in the supply chain, along with our business partners and through established Sourcing networks.

This position has a dotted reporting line to our Operations Team, responsible for ensuring the delivery of Global Sourcing goals and strategies.

  • You will supply sourcing performance reports through importing, cleansing, transforming, validating, analyzing and interpreting data from various sources.
  • We expect you to maintain and provide input to our Dashboard and Division Scorecard, to run data quality checks as well as anticipate and solve data issues to keep data quality & consistency.
  • You will contribute to growing spend visibility in some specific regions or areas of spend, testing and validating the data.
  • You will support the implementation of new reporting solutions and tools in the spend analytics, procurement operations, vendor management.
  • We need you to be responsible for interacting with Finance, IT and our Sourcing community.
  • You will be engaged with continual improvement initiatives with the focus on achieving lean operating procedures and operational excellence.

About you

  • You have a bachelor’s degree at a minimum in fields such as business administration, finance or technical field. Strong preference for reporting and analytics background.
  • Ideally, you have three years of Reporting and Analytics experience.
  • You possess excellent written and oral English language skills.
  • You are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, OneNote).
  • You deliver high-quality end products also in short time frames and focus on making our internal clients and ourselves successful.
  • You communicate and listen well to top management, internal clients such as teammates.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills, to handle numerous priorities at a time and meet deadlines.
  • You strive at conceptual thinking and understanding a topic from start to finish.
  • You are keen to drive your continual skills development.
  • You demonstrate behaviors consistent with Swiss Re imperatives facilitating consistent performance and continuous improvement by taking personal accountability.
