About the Role:
- Be a senior member of the Client Management team for Swiss Re's Life & Health business in India
- Acquire and exercise an advanced level of Pricing Authority
- Develop growth strategies for L&H India market in conjunction with cross functional team leads and deliver differentiating solutions to meet client’s strategic growth aspirations and SR's business objectives.
- Deliver important L&H metrics assigned to the India market.
- Be responsible for the end-to-end business process for defined segments in L&H.
- Develop and maintain relationship with the senior management, reinsurance decision makers and key influencers of assigned clients;
- Act as a mentor for the L&H team in expressing Swiss Re’s value proposition, developing key accounts, executing strategy, and delivering our services.
- Lead client and third-party meetings, as well represent Swiss Re Solutions in industry events.
About you:

You are a Qualified Actuary and can leverage your technical expertise to shape the technical aspects of our business solutions. Competencies:
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in the Indian life/health insurance industry.
- Qualified/nearly qualified actuary; Non-actuarial candidates may be considered if from a reputed B-school and possessing relevant experience for the role
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a team builder who enjoys working in a multi-cultural team environment.
- You encourage others and promote team-work and cooperation across business units. Self-aware, you establish trust through open, transparent communication and empower others through effective leadership and ability to handle tensions
- You have demonstrated strategic vision, have a strong business acumen and result orientation.
- You can think out of the box, roll your sleeves up and are not afraid to take charge of a situation.
- You can spot and design differentiating, innovative solutions to secure a competitive advantage. You listen, also to what is not being said and can steer multiple parties' interests into an aligned one.
