In this role, you are responsible to drive the execution and general advisory on core HR services and solutions along the employee life cycle. With a passion for HR and a broad knowledge, from hiring to onboarding, from employee compensation to development, and if you are familiar with labor law and look to advance your career, our team is your place to be.

 

Reporting to the HR Country Head Germany, you work closely with functional HR Partners and HR Specialists within the function as well as experts from the Centers of Excellence (CoE), Recruitment, Talent, Culture & Inclusion (TCI) and Reward, to use tools and to handle activities via a pragmatic approach and with a rigorous focus on operational excellence, to deliver end to end HR in Germany.

Key responsibilities:

 

HR at its core supports the business and its employees, while having the larger picture on markets trends. You will:

 

  • Provide general advisory services on employee life cycle from talent acquisition to onboarding, retention, talent development and offboarding.

  • Partnering with the business stakeholders and as member of the Leadership team act as a strategic advisor

  • Collaborate with HR peers and experts across the other countries on programs and initiatives.

  • Ensuring that people practices are sustainable and compliant through application and sound knowledge of policies and regulations.

  • Offer advise and mentoring to managers and employees on employee and labor relations topics.

  • Deploy cultural change interventions and develop and implement measurements to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Apply relevant standard solutions (annual compensation review process, talent management, succession planning, engagement, retention, performance management, re-organization) and act as an enabler and challenger within your business area.

  • Enable Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) while reviewing talent challenges in Germany with an outside in perspective.

  • Understand German market dynamics and articulate the company's Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

About You

 

The ideal candidate has: 

  • At least 5 years relevant HR experience including experience with employee representative bodies and knowledge of German labor and employment law

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in business, law, psychology, or related field

  • Sound demonstrable knowledge of human resources generalist end to end core topics.

  • Ability to maintain and build empathetic relationships and network with customers at all levels, including Senior Management

  • Ability to negotiate, often in difficult situations, and steer discussions to a desired end, critical thinking and complex problem solving is an asset.

  • Experience of in working in global organizations with matrix organizational set up, ideally internationally and EMEA wide.

  • Experience with managing organizational change, including restructuring and transformation programs.

  • Confidence with data and technology, ability to derive business advise based on data.

  • Proficiency in German and English.
