Your responsibilities will include:
Developing innovative and easy to understand P&C products starting from our customers' perspective. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with claims as well as UX designers to design simple insurance products and customer journeys while keeping adverse selection and moral hazard under tight control. You will monitor market developments, evaluate upcoming consumer needs and perform advanced market analysis to ensure adequate positioning of our products.
While you design coverage as well as sales bundling and write end customer contracts (T&Cs), you will also manage the products after go-live ensuring sales volumes and profitable growth – together with our actuaries. Our advanced data analytics capabilities inform portfolio management, pricing actions, and renewal strategies. On embedded insurance solutions you will be involved in testing of different bundles, tariffs and sales journeys to continuously gain new insights.
You will play a pivotal role as the primary point of contact for our partners on product-related topics and collaborate closely with our Business Development colleagues on management of existing partners as well as securing new partnerships.
About You

3+ years of demonstrated ability in personal lines P&C insurance product departments in Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland or Italy

Proven understanding of regulatory requirements around T&C development and a strong view on underlying trends governing main or niche P&C products

Hands-on, flexible and independent working style embracing cross-functional teams and partnering with partners from different industries and backgrounds

Technology minded with a clear view on how technology can be used for customer friendly underwriting and more attractive insurance products

Clear and effective communication with internal and external business leaders within and outside the insurance industry

Fluency in German and English; proficiency in other EU languages is an advantage
About the Team
As Product Developer, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join us. We are a diverse and motivated team, committed to delivering together with our partners value and innovative services to our clients. The product management team is part of the Insurance and Propositions Department ensuring close collaboration with Marketing, UX/UI and data analytics. On individual partner projects you will collaborate with other functions, such as IT, Operations and Business Development in an empowered cross-functional team.
