About the Role

 

The Retro Adjuster role has significant exposure across a range of traditional and structured retrocession products.

In this role you will work closely and have frequent dialogue with Alternative Capital Partners (ACP), Retro Finance / FP&A, Global Actuarial & Reserving, Large Loss Management and Claims. You will support a cross-functional team to fulfill retrocession contract results and meet obligations. Responsibilities will include handover and set-up of contracts in the accounting system, sophisticated reporting, premium/loss calculation, billing, collection and booking.

 

 

About the Team

 

ILS & Retro Business Management is a division of P&C Business Management dedicated to providing specialized transaction and business support to the ACP division. This role will be a part of the team located in Munich, considered Swiss Re's center of excellence for retro reporting.

 

 

About You

 

  • Accounting, Business or Economics bachelor’s or master’s degree

  • Reinsurance/insurance accounting or finance experience strongly preferred

  • Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Products with tested ability to analyze large data sets

  • Detail oriented self-starter with outstanding analytical skills

  • Teammate with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment

  • Good English language skills

  • SQL/Python skills are a plus!
