About ACP Business Development
ACP Business Development is the link to build and foster direct partnerships between pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, insurers, asset managers and other institutional investors and Swiss Re. The focus is to partner with investors looking to benefit from Swiss Re's underwriting expertise, experience, and access to the (re)insurance market.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial and partnership-focused professional to initiate and build relationships with institutional investors across the EU with a focus on Germany. The role is based in Munich and reports to the Head of ACP's Business Development team.
The role has the following key deliverables and responsibilities:
- Establish new partnerships with institutional investors and their investment consultants across the EU with a focus on Germany.
- Identify and approach new prospects for our range of products
- Be on top of new developments in the Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) and wider alternative investments space
- Contribute to product development
- Create publications and marketing presentations across ACP products
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all partners
- Maintain CRM system with prospective leads
- Regulatory role as manager and MLRO of the German branch of Swiss Re Capital Markets Europe
About You
Do you bring a confirmed results-oriented & can-do demeanor? Are you looking to deliver the best of your skills and are comfortable working in an area that is fluid and dynamic?
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Mathematics, Natural Science, Finance, Economics or similar analytical discipline
- 5+ years of capital raising experience at a placement agent or alternative investment manager with a successful track record in establishing new partnerships
- Knowledge of the EU institutional investor landscape and regulations
- Experience in ILS is of an advantage but is not required
- Ability to operate in a rapidly developing business environment with strong ability to adapt to new circumstances with ease and speed
- An engaging presence in addition to outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion
- Fluent in English and German
