Senior Risk Consultant (Hybrid - m/f/x/d - 80-100%)

Become an integral part of Solutions division and lead risk consulting projects throughout the insurance value chain for our clients, including go-to-market strategies, risk assessments, pricing reviews, or portfolio segmentation!

About the Role

 

  • Lead quantitative and qualitative analyses to support and consult our clients on their key priorities and business problems.

  • Identify most appropriate methods & actuarial strategies to support decision making, guide implementation and ensure successful delivery.

  • Lead data scouting and preparation, as well as integrate existing tools & methods in solution approaches.

  • Coordinate research, surveys, and interviews to gain understanding of specific insurance markets and businesses and do not forget to keep up-to-date with industry trends, developments and best practices in actuarial science.

  • Compile and present information to communicate clear and practical insights to senior partners of SR's clients.

  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups, primarily on C- and C-1 level.

About You

 

We are looking for YOU - team mate with strong interpersonal, and communication skills; well-organized with attention to detail; and passionate, creative fast-learner with entrepreneurial spirit.

 

Essentials:

  • Experience in the insurance market, having worked for a consultancy, insurance, broker, model vendor or analytics company.

  • Experience in a client-facing role.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in actuarial or underwriting role, applying analytical/statistical methods.

  • Hands on coding (Python preferably)

  • Professional qualifications such as FSA, FCIA, SAV/DAV, or equivalent

  • Proficiency in other European languages are a strong plus.
