Client Executive - Large Commercial Insurance

About The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to defend and expand business relationships for assigned Fortune 500 customers with a focus on industry segment to maximize our Share-of-Wallet (SOW) and become a strategic partner of choice. 

  

As the point of contact, you will be responsible for the management and development of these strategic customers with complex and global requirements, as well as generating and managing business opportunities across products and geographies and fostering customer relationships with senior management. 

  

Essential Responsibilities: 

  

  • Establish a strong relationship with key decision makers at clients and their brokers to gain an understanding of customer's sustainability, risk management and insurance goals and develop a clear strategy / sales plan
  • Manage strategic customer relationship activities by organizing and leading cross functional teams to coordinate all new or renewing business transactions.  
  • Use knowledge and influence to develop and drive a clear strategy to deliver Swiss Re solutions to enhance the customer experience. 
  • Handle sensitive customer-related issues and ensures swift resolution. 
  • Apply data analytics to develop methodologies and outputs for key insights and business decisions. 
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss Re guidelines. 

   

About The Team

 

The Corporate Solutions Customer Management team is the first point of contact with many large corporates and represents all products and solutions to lead the customer experience, and sales and business development efforts for a portfolio of strategic customers. The team matches the customers they manage with both tailored and standard insurance solutions. We are a collaborative and innovative team working together to deliver a best-in-class customer centric experience. The Customer Manager serves as the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Client Executive for their assigned portfolio.  

  

About You

  

Professional Experience: 

 

  • 10 plus years of Customer/Client management or Sales in the large corporate commercial insurance industry including exposure to alternative risk solutions and complex insurance transactions. 
  • Broad industry network with key stakeholders (corporate risk managers, c-suite leaders, brokers, insurance professionals). 
  • Track record of dealings with complex insurance transactions.
  • University degree required.

For New York, NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $143,000 to $256,000.  The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.  At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.

 

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week.
