P&C Insurance - Strategy Consultant - Hybrid
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week. This role is not eligible for either relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.

About the Role
As a strategy consultant, you will be responsible for executing and supporting the delivery of our client consulting services on the P&C side. This role is a key role within the Americas consulting team with impacts on client delivery and both the growth and evolution of our consulting value proposition. Our clients include some of the largest global, national, and regional insurers, MGAs, and public sector organizations. Being client-centric and commercially minded, you will drive the success of RCA within Swiss Re's Risk Data Solutions division.
Your key responsibilities will involve:
- Leading and supporting consulting project delivery, including discovery, scoping, project management, analysis, and synthesizing results, as well as the communication of insights and recommendations to clients,
- Acting as domain expert and primary contact for Property and Casualty consulting, using a combination of internal and external data sources to help clients and internal stakeholders pursue opportunities
- Supporting the evolution of the P&C consulting proposition by expanding the collective expertise and capabilities of the RCA team in response to client needs and market opportunities,
- Working together with RCA Leadership and Sales team to support client research and discovery as part of business development efforts
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Swiss Re on client engagement and the development of new capabilities and intellectual property

The RCA team within the Risk Data Solutions division is globally responsible for delivering consulting services to our clients. Our typical client work centres on profitable growth, product development, pricing, underwriting, risk scoring, risk selection, and claims. Providing such services to our clients leads to new, more, or better business profit generation for Swiss Re that would not happen through pure (re)insurance business. These earnings will be manifested primarily through a fee income model.
About You
You have strong analytical problem-solving skills, business acumen, can-do attitude, and ability to process complex information. You also have desire and passion to work in a dynamic, high-impact, client-facing role.
Essentials:
- 3-5+ years strategy consulting background and experience with client delivery,
- Leadership experience as part of cross-functional/multi-disciplinary project teams,
- Superb knowledge of the primary insurance market for Property & Casualty lines of business,
- Experience working for an insurer, broker, consulting firm or analytics company,
- Ability to complete complex analyses (of both qualitative and quantitative data) and turn it into actionable insights using impactful storytelling and visualization skills (e.g. through producing presentations and documents),
- Comfortability engaging with a range of client stakeholders, including at the executive levels,
- Flexibility to travel occasionally,
Nice to have:
- Expertise in statistical tools, programming languages, and visualization tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, MS PowerBI, Tableau, ),
- Proficiency in Spanish/Portuguese

The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $156,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
