About the role
 
Join the team of CorSo Risk Engineers on our journey to become the leading service provider in the commercial insurance world! With a focus to our French book-of-business, also with the opportunity to service internal and external customers in other regions.
 You will closely interact with clients and brokers as the technical owner of all Risk Management property-related matters. You will be responsible for defining a servicing strategy to engineer your own portfolio. You will review, interpret and build your specialist opinion based on third party risk information, conduct prospect visits an develop a strategic servicing plan for our customers.
 
•    Lead your own field-engineering visits, set priorities and targets for risk improvement and partner with our clients
•    Serve as the account engineer, depending on skills you may conduct loss prevention visits for clients in other regions 
•    Participate in various projects and initiatives 


About the team 
 
As a member of our global Risk Engineering Services (RES) community, you will be fully embedded in the CorSo RES Team and play a significant role in the French deal Team. Based on your skills, you will develop to become a specialist in dedicated core industries or subject matters. This includes driving various projects, initiatives, development and implementation of strategies, creating standard methodologies, guidelines or papers and industry updates or developing new innovative service offerings. Our highly agile set up allows a huge degree of job diversity and development opportunities. Our dual approach of our own and 3rd party (field engineering partners) site surveys gives us increased flexibility and an outstanding customer-focus.
 
You will go through extensive training in risk engineering from fundamentals of the science of fire to understanding the key risks across multiple different industries along with the design and application of fixed fire protection systems. You will be supported with a day to day buddy as well as a team of engineers with vast experience and willingness to share this knowledge.  
 
 About you 
 
We are looking for a phenomenal teammate with strong communication, negotiation and presenting skills who can constructively and respectfully engage in challenging conversations with both internal and external stakeholders. Required:
 
•    Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering 
•    Property loss prevention background (up to 3 years at a reputable property risk engineering provider) or a new Graduate Engineer 
•    Proficient digital literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office products, work with databases, data analytics) and ideally an affinity to digital solutions (technical savviness) 
•    Business sense and flexibility, self-managed, entrepreneurial attitude 
•    Service mindedness for internal and external stakeholders
•    Willingness to travel – mainly within Europe 
•    Driving license 
  
Preferable:
 
•    Language skills: French and English (business fluent), other languages are an advantage 

 

For France, the base salary range for this position is between 41,000 EUR  and EUR 61,000  for a full-time role.

The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience. In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
