About this position

We are pleased to invite applications to run the sales and delivery of our client solutions in Reinsurance to key players in the insurance ecosystem across your local market. You will have the rare opportunity to pioneer and contribute to our monetization efforts by handling and upselling to current clients and acquiring new partners. Our insurance solutions cover varied insurance lines of business including Cyber, Automotive, Engineering and Parametric risks. By working alongside Reinsurance's global teams in P&C Solutions, Underwriting and Claims you will act as a liaison partner for all solutions activities pre and post-sales.

Responsibilities

  • You enable the change in the insurance environment and enthusiastically build opportunities to work with current and new insurance partners. This is an exciting role in Sales (or Client Markets) with dynamic and wide accountabilities and great impact.
  • You will market and develop client solutions in the insurance ecosystem.
  • You will be the key point of contact for our clients to develop and implement insurance client solutions.
  • You build and maintain a successful network with Swiss Re's existing clients (C-suite, Product Development, Distribution, Innovation and Underwriting) as well as new partners across the insurance value chain.
  • You own client deals from origination to implementation including governance post sale.
  • You are responsible to select and bring up deals.
  • You support the Branch Manager in his business review duties.
  • You will join a diverse team of client managers, underwriters, claims managers and business coordinators to deliver value to the client.

We are looking for agile leaders who can upskill, coach, develop and adapt at pace. We want you to support across the range of varied accountabilities to deliver our ambitious growth plans for the P&C business.

About You

  • With a good record of minimum 3 years in the insurance sector in product development, distribution, strategy, underwriting or another related function, you bring valuable insurance insights and can translate those into opportunities for client solutions
  • You maintain a good network within your local non-life (re)-insurance market
  • You are a successful sales leader and feel confident in negotiating and interacting effectively with management on all levels (C-suite). You listen, understand the clients' needs and are able to bring creative ideas and solutions.
  • Graduated in Actuarial sciences, you have strong analytical skills in risk sciences.
  • Are you passionate about the latest developments in the wider insurance environment and follow developments to find opportunities actively with existing and prospective clients?
  • Do you have experience in handling large deals, projects and virtual teams?
  • Have you experienced design thinking to run co-creation with our partners?
