Marketing Manager for FR, CH & Benelux (Hybrid, m/f/x/d)
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for managing and driving the marketing campaigns and initiatives across the entire funnel from awareness to conversion and more. You will help drive commercial impact by advancing our market presence, engaging prospects, building strong client and partner relationships and equipping our origination teams with knowledge, resources and tailored content to close deals effectively.
• While reporting to the Head of Marketing L&H Re, you will collaborate with the three BU Marketing Heads to ensure alignment and integration of the activities with the overall global marketing strategies.
• You will support the Market Heads of France, Benelux and Switzerland, ensuring alignment across the 3 BUs and builds strong relationships with the respective leadership and client facing teams to develop and execute local marketing plans.
• In collaboration with our Marketing Services Hub, you will oversee the production and activation of all marketing campaigns, events, promotional materials, client research and sales enablement activities with the marketing services team (EMEA hub) or other relevant teams (e.g. sales excellence, client research).
• You will also report marketing results to senior leadership to continuously inform the marketing planning cycle and optimise campaign delivery.
Main tasks / activities / responsibilities
• Planning: Proactively work with local market heads to develop and execute the local marketing strategy and activities ensuring alignment and consolidation with global plans.
• Targeting: Works together with the global marketing team and local marketing services hub to define local customer segments, profiles and messaging.
• Campaigns activation: Design and manage the countries' marketing and sales enablement activities, including selecting the appropriate channel mix and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring culture sensitives and local nuances are considered.
• Stakeholder Management: Work effectively with the local leadership teams and engage with local client Underwriting teams, claims, sales, as well as other XFTs to support local marketing efforts across the 3 BUs.
• Sales enablement and client research initiatives: Consult with local leadership teams to identify sales enablement needs and support implementation of global sales excellence or research initiatives locally.
• Budgeting and Reporting: Responsible for managing the local marketing budget and actively respond to global requests for performance and impact reports and showcasing reports to the local leadership team.
• PR/media: Collaborate closely with the media relations team to ensure consistency in messaging and to amplify coverage for campaigns and effectively position our leaders and solutions in the marketplace. Mine for local stories with business teams and coordinating the content creation and promotional plan for France, Benelux and Switzerland.
About you
• Marketing professional with experience in defining and driving marketing plans and executing marketing campaigns, including digital and social media, event management and content creation and media relations.
• 5+ years of related experience, preferably a mix of corporate and agency experience within the (re)insurance sector and extensive marketing experience.
• Experience in a matrixed environment and in coordinating with and working across geographies and different business levels.
• Action-oriented, results-driven, strong attention to details, able to take ownership of large and complex projects and see them through to completion with a high standard of excellence and little supervision.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management – including the ability to work with market unit heads effectively.
• Possess strong project management and team working skills.
• Strong written and presentation skills, able to support on keynote presentations, executive talking points etc.
• Fluent English and French, with excellent spoken and written editorial skills.
• Intercultural sensitivity and experience in cross-functional collaboration and building strong personal networks.
• Communicating in an inspiring way with the ability to negotiate, persuade and counsel effectively.
• Positive and passionate personality, with a strong drive to challenge the status quo and continuously improve things.
For France, the base salary range for this position is between 50,000 EUR and 74,000 EUR for a full-time role.

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience. In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
• In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
