About the role
Join the EMEA team of Property Risk Engineers on our journey to become the leading service provider in the commercial insurance world! You will closely collaborate with clients and brokers as the technical owner of all Risk Management property-related matters with a focus to our French book-of-business, also with the opportunity to service customers in other regions.

You will review, interpret and build your specialist opinion based on third party risk information, conduct prospect visits and develop a strategic servicing plan for our customers.
You will also lead your own field-engineering visits, set priorities and targets for risk improvement and partner with our customers to develop a long-term relationship.

We will help you to grow into the account engineer role and based on your skills, you will develop to become a specialist in dedicated core industries or subject matters. This includes driving various projects, initiatives, development and implementation of strategies, crafting standard methodologies, guidelines or papers and industry updates or developing new innovative service offerings.

About the team
We are a diverse team of engineers across EMEA located in Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, London and Johannesburg with a very high level of entrepreneurial spirit, energy and expertise, that we seek to complement and strengthen together with your support. At the same time, we capture more experiences, develop ourselves and have fun! 
As a member of our global Risk Engineering Services (RES) community, you will be fully embedded in the RES EMEA Mediterranean team of the EMEA business division serving the French market.

About you
We are looking for highly motivated (risk) engineers with strong interpersonal, technical and analytical skills, who have a passion for loss prevention and control. You are curios, learning new things every day and have an affinity to look beyond, analyzing data and identifying trends and risks? 

Your profile
•    University degree or equivalent in Engineering or Chemistry
•    2-5 years of professional experience in insurance, at a risk engineering service provider or in a related industry
•    Team-player, actively contributing to the overall team result and spirit
•    Service mindedness for internal and external partners
•    Mature & self-confident; able to work with clients, business partners or senior colleagues
•    Strong analytical skills with high affinity to technology, data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Office, databases and statistics) and digital solutions
•    Ability and drive to work independently and proactively 
•    Excellent oral and written French (first language or business proficient) and proficient English skills; additional language skills helpful
•    Willingness to travel – mainly within Europe
