Position summary

Are you good in creating and pricing winning solutions that will exceed client expectations and set Swiss Re apart from our competitors? We are looking for hardworking Client Manager to build strong relationships with our clients!


In this client facing position as a Client Manager with Costing Authority (CMCA) you will be:

  • Originating sales (including face to face interactions) with responsibility for developing and managing the relationship and client strategy with assigned client(s).
  • Preparing reinsurance proposals, working closely with underwriting, claims and Products' actuaries, ie calling experts to the table when the discussion becomes technical. Negotiation and execution of reinsurance contracts.
  • Advising assigned clients on the full spectrum of Swiss Re products and differentiating solutions to meet their strategic growth aspirations and Swiss Re’s business objectives.
  • Managing all aspects of the client relationships and taking responsibility for respective technical and financial results while leading cross functional resources.
  • Owning the profit center results and be accountable for business of assigned client(s) including planning and budgeting.
  • Owning the quote process, performing the costing for quotes within your authority; this includes developing and running costing and pricing models, documentation and processing through internal systems.
  • Using client knowledge in Consultative sales, challenge resolution and creative Product Development.
  • Ensuring application of guidelines and clean governance by coordinating and obtaining approvals as needed, planning exercises and quarterly budgeting.


Our Team

Your role will be an integral part of Swiss Re's Meditteranean Team. We work with a large portfolio of global and regional clients in Israel, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. As well as primary insurance companies, our clients also include distributors, MGAs and other organisations across the insurance value chain.


We are small in number yet carry significant responsibility in the business with accountability for the new business production and the overall perspective of the business. This drives a strong team dynamic with a focus on sharing success and supporting each other. We work collaboratively with colleagues in pricing, underwriting, claims and business management functions. Our aim is to balance the demands of delivering excellent client service with a lively, fun and energetic working environment!


You bring

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in an (re-)insurance position (actuarial or commercial).
  • Creative approach to work. You are commercial and independently proactive.
  • You are capable of handling multiple priorities and clients effectively, often within challenging deadlines
  • You are diligent and committed to excellence
  • Proven financial skills and analytical ability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and the ability to influence others.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • The demonstrated ability to make decisions based on sound business judgment and a strong sense of urgency while maintaining credibility and generating confidence in those decisions.
  • You speak Hebrew and English. Other European languages and/or Turkish would be advantageous.
