Casualty Intern
We are looking for a proactive, highly motivated and result oriented Intern to join our Casualty team within Corporate Solutions in São Paulo, supporting the team through data-driven and technology-enabled initiatives.
About the Role:
Your main tasks will be support the Casualty underwriting by developing and enhancing technological solutions, strengthening underwriting controls and improving data-driven decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports for portfolio monitoring (e.g. Power BI, Excel or similar tools);
- Assisting in the design and improvement of underwriting controls and operational processes;
- Supporting automation of routines and data workflows to enhance efficiency;
- Contributing to the exploration and implementation of AI tools and AI Agents for process optimization, analysis and reporting;
- Assisting in testing systems, tools and data quality validation related to Casualty underwriting
You will work closely with underwriters and internal stakeholders, contributing to a more efficient, data-oriented and technology enabled underwriting environment
About the Team:
The Casualty underwriting team is responsible for the analysis, structuring and acceptance of liability risks for small and large companies.
The team operates with a strong focus on portfolio profitability, sustainable growth and underwriting discipline, leveraging data and technology to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
You will be part of a collaborative and international environment, interacting with multiple internal stakeholders across functions.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and interest in data, technology and innovation applied to business.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related fields;
- Graduation expected in 2028 or after;
- Strong analytical profile with solid problem-solving skills;
- Interest in data analysis, dashboard development, automation and AI applications;
- Knowledge of Excel and/or Power BI, programming skills (Python, SQL or similar) are a plus;
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with different stakeholders;
- Proactivity, organization and attention detail;
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office)
To be eligible for an internship position in Brazil, candidates must be actively enrolled in a Brazilian higher education institution or participating in an exchange program with a local university, in accordance with local internship regulations.
