Internal Control Specialist (Hybrid 50%)

About the Role:
You will be part of Risk Management team which support all Swiss Re's operation in Brazil (Insurance and Reinsurance), responsible for internal control activities as stated by local regulator. As such, you are expected to be able to engage properly with various teams in both companies, with the following objectives:
- Support teams on implementing, operationalizing, monitoring, critical analyzing and suggesting improvements to internal controls.
- Support Risk Management team on Risk Inventory update.
- Support KRIs timely measurement, defining and following up corrective action plans.
- Provide steer and advise with respect to control activities.
- Contribute with risk and control assessments or reports for senior management or executive committees.
- Conduct projects to improve local Risk Management framework.
- Participate actively in the evaluation of new regulations and their applicability to Swiss Re's business in Brazil.
- Support the teams in adhering to the Swiss Re group's standards and policies.

About You:
You have good interpersonal skills, clear and concise communication. You are someone who is not satisfied by the first answer you get, curious to learn and focused on robust solutions. You are organized, can act independently, able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Essentially:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management and Internal Control activities in a (re)insurance company.
- Solid knowledge about local regulator current requirements on Risk Management.
- Good communication skills, also in English (written and oral fluency).
- Integrity and ethics, not afraid to have your opinion challenged.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships at different hierarchical levels, positively influencing different stakeholders.
Differentials:
- Previous experience with SOX or audit activities.
- ESG basic knowledge
- Experience in building presentations and conducting meetings.
- Fluency in Spanish.
