About the Role
As a Senior P&C Treaty Underwriting Coordinator, you'll serve as the vital bridge between operational execution and strategic leadership. You'll ensure our underwriting processes run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity, compliance, and innovation. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our systems and empowering our underwriters to make confident, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage comprehensive P&C processes for new and renewal contracts, including contract clause reviews, client communications, and contract structuring
• Serve as the technical expert for P&C Treaty underwriting tools and systems, providing critical support for deal capture platforms, pricing tools, and reporting dashboards
• Ensure data quality and compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and audit controls
• Handle complex operational challenges by identifying and implementing effective solutions
• Lead improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce operational risk, and drive automation
• Provide technical guidance to underwriters on system usage, data interpretation, and contract review
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Claims, and other departments to ensure seamless data integration
• Prepare and deliver training sessions on tools, processes, and best practices
About the Team
You'll join our dynamic Reinsurance Business Operations team supporting the LATAM P&C Treaty Underwriting unit. We work collaboratively with global colleagues across multiple regions to deliver operational excellence, drive innovation, and provide exceptional service to our clients. You'll report directly to the Business Services Team Leader responsible for this department, with clear pathways for professional growth and development.
About You
You're a detail-oriented professional who finds satisfaction in optimizing processes and solving complex problems. With your analytical mindset and collaborative approach, you're recognized as a technical expert who can translate data insights into actionable business recommendations. You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about contributing to team success.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
• University degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial Sciences)
• 3-5+ years of experience in (Re)insurance operations, underwriting support, or related roles
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint) and comfort working with large datasets
• Strong understanding of P&C Treaty underwriting processes, systems, and (Re)insurance principles
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• A strong customer focus and service orientation
These are additional nice to haves:
• Experience leading process improvement projects or system implementations
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., VBA, Power Automate) or data analytics platforms
• Knowledge of NatCat data and exposure to actuarial or pricing concepts
