In this position, you will coordinate business requirements for Group/Local IFRS reporting and IT development to ensure alignment to policy work and change management policy.

 

Main responsibilities:

•             Coordination and alignment with the Business Unit IFRS Project Team and Workstreams;

•             Preparing detailed impact assessments of the adoption of IFRS to the Corporate Solutions Business;

•             Assist in the interpretation of policy work and ensure process and system changes within the IT landscape;

•             Lead change management of established quarterly reporting process and applications used for existing Group Level reporting (US GAAP and Economic Value Management) and the transition to IFRS reporting;

•             Close coordination to the IT Team to ensure the system changes implemented for IFRS are aligned to the overall IT strategy;

•             General requirements processing and prioritization with close coordination with the Business Unit Teams to capture requirements for local IFRS and Group IFRS reporting;

•             Stakeholder management and ensuring alignment of communication with business and finance;

•             Critical issue process management.

 

About You

We encourage your application if you meet position's requirements:

•             5 plus years of accounting/financial reporting experience. Big 4 a plus, CPA a plus;

•             Fluent English skills; Spanish is desirable;

 

•             Proven experience in delivering a transformation project

•             Solid understanding of IFRS 17 accounting for and experience in external reporting

 

•             Proven experience in delivering a transformation project;

•             Experience in establishing a working project team structure and project management;

•             Experience in driving a successful change management plan;

•             Experience in directing IT teams on application development projects (define requirements, design, build, testing, go live);

•             Accounting certification (CPA, etc.) issued by a governing body a plus;

•             Digital, operational improvement, and agile attitude;

•             Strong problem solving, organization, and interpersonal skills;

•             Experience in delivering key messages to senior executives.
