Senior Underwriting Analyst for International Business

About the Role:
As a Senior Underwriting Analyst in our International Program Operations team in Brazil, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our underwriting expertise and client needs. You'll be the orchestrator of international insurance programs, ensuring seamless coordination across borders while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate International Programs (Producing & Incoming) in close collaboration with Underwriters for Property, Casualty and Financial Lines;
- Prepare and issue critical documentation including binders, policies, endorsements and certificates to our customers;
- Develop and instruct master programs with local policies worldwide, providing support on IP master and local details;
- Ensure accuracy by correctly reflecting terms and conditions of business in our administration systems;
- Build relationships with local offices, network partners and brokers through regular contact and attendance at customer and broker meetings;
- Follow up on outstanding information following standard operating procedures for IP;
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and continuous improvement of tools and processes;
- Verify data integrity by compiling, sorting, reviewing and verifying data accuracy, detecting errors, and initiating corrections.
About the Team:
In this role, you will report directly to the Head Operations Brazil, working closely with underwriters while interacting with global functions in Operations, Underwriting Assistants and Underwriters across the region. Our team requires in-depth knowledge of international program business processes across different Lines of Business including Property, Casualty and Financial Lines. We believe in teamwork and are looking for someone who integrates well, as you'll be partnering with a broad network of specialists. A service mindset is key, as is finding the right balance between tactical execution and strategic thinking.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in International Program Business in a similar position in corporate insurance or within an insurance broking organization;
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field;
- Excellent communication skills (reading, written and verbal) in Portuguese and English;
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate and manage personal workload effectively;
These are additional nice to haves:
- Experience with international insurance markets and regulatory environments;
- Knowledge of multiple insurance lines including Property, Casualty and Financial Lines;
- Familiarity with insurance administration systems and databases;
- Project management experience or certification;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Package, particularly Excel.
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
