Underwriter Property
We are looking for an analytical and proactive professional to support the underwriting team through the development of actuarial and underwriting projects. This position will play a key role in enhancing business intelligence capabilities, supporting daily operations, and improving decision-making processes through robust data analysis. Responsibilities include the development and monitoring of KPIs, creation of automated reports, and implementation of process improvements, in close collaboration with the local management team and other business units. Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, SAS, and Excel will be essential to deliver insightful and data-driven solutions.
About the Role:
Key tasks:
• Be responsible for providing support for Property Underwriting.
• Assists the team with underwriting and back-office related tasks (CorSo, triage and screening of business offers).
• Participates of project development activities/dynamics with others from the team, including the possibility of site visits.
• Take accountability of the portfolio figures, developing tools to monitor the portfolio
• Controlling and monitoring high volume of demands.
About the Team:
Property Empresarial team is located in São Paulo and comprises the responsibilities of underwriting and digital product management. The position will be to compose the Property Empresarial Digital team, becoming part of a group that works together for the constant development of knowledge, enabling a leadership position in market solutions.
About You:
You've got strong interpersonal skills and communicate well; new ideas excite you and you're keen explore new experiences and possibilities.
Essentials:
- Studying Engineering, Actuarial, Business, etc.
- Professional background: experience with negotiations and data solutions.
- Programming skills
Nice to have:
- Proficient in Excel.
- English, Logical reasoning,
- General knowledge of Brazilian insurance Market.
