About the Role

Swiss Re Korea is seeking an Underwriter L&H with prior experience in re/insurance industry.

 

   Key Objectives

  • Provide underwriting services including case assessment, training, seminar and audit
  • Support product development and research activities

 

   Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of large and/or complex life and Accident & Health risks in accordance with Swiss Re philosophy and underwriting authority
  • Assist in client underwriting audits
  • Assist in client meetings, training and seminar
  • Review product design, provision and underwriting guidelines
  • Contribute to ideation of new product solutions
  • Work on special underwriting project and research work
  • Support underwriting initiatives in Swiss Re
  • Manage Swiss Re underwriting guideline(Life Guide)
  • Provide efficient and courteous services to clients and ensure timely and quality service standards

 

About the Team

About You

  • University graduated with 2~4 years of experiences in (re)insurance underwriting
  • Qualification or progression towards professional exams in insurance based topics(ALU, KLU or FLMI)
  • Good understanding of Life and Health products and underwriting best practices
  • Strong communication skill, creative and innovative thinking and open minded embracing changes  
  • Self-motivated, independent and team player
  • Demonstrating strong client centricity
  • Strong medical underwriting skill is preferred
  • Fluent in Korean, proficiency in English
