About the Role

 

The roles of the senior client manager are forging strong relationships with Korean clients, ensuring their needs are met and maximizing value for both parties. Senior client manager drives strategic growth initiatives to identify and cultivate high-value new business opportunities and optimize in-force business in Korea.

 

Role & Responsibility

  • Unlock value for both clients and Swiss Re: Craft bespoke solutions that maximize client benefit while maintaining risk control for Swiss Re.
  • Cultivate strong relationships: Build trust and become a trusted advisor for clients, industry bodies, and regulators.
  • Be the client champion: Advocate for their needs with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Navigate the market landscape: Gather intelligence and facilitate the introduction of innovative products and services.
  • Business Origination: Originate reinsurance business opportunities (new business & in-force business) and maintain end to end process for pre & post business origination whilst managing the contractual & business relationship with partners holistically.
  • Deliver exceptional service: Ensure clients receive not just solutions, but ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Seamless execution: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient client service and optimal business management.
  • Optimize for success: Focus efforts on tasks and clients that deliver the highest value to Swiss Re.

 

About the Team

 

At Swiss Re, our Korea Life & Health Client Markets team under the APAC region is dedicated to maximizing value for our clients and Swiss Re by offering innovative solutions, including new product development, underwriting/ claim solutions, and structured financial solutions.

 

Our team operates as a strategic partner, working closely with our clients to meet their unique needs and exceed expectations. We collaborate extensively with a cross-functional team that includes Product and Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Solutions, and Global teams. Together, we bring our values to the market, ensuring exceptional value for both our clients and Swiss Re.

About You

 

  • L&H Expertise: 10+ years in reinsurance or primary insurance to deliver exceptional results for clients. Possess a deep understanding of the Korean L&H insurance landscape and strategic marketing in the life insurance industry.
  • Client Champion: Build and solidify strong relationships with a diverse client, fostering trust and advocacy across the Korean market. Effectively navigate the Korean business landscape, building rapport and ensuring seamless interaction.
  • Results-Oriented Leader: Demonstrate a strong sense of business ownership, driving success and exceeding targets for Swiss Re.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: Embrace challenges, break down complex issues, and develop insightful solutions tailored to Korean client needs.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative environment, fostering strong relationships and achieving shared goals internally and externally.
  • Executive Presence: Confidently interact with clients including senior management, allowing for clear and concise communication at all levels that drive mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Prefer proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Functional title will be determined based on the experience of the selected candidate.
