CEO Office Manager APAC

About the Role

The CEO Office Manager APAC supports the CEO and the executive team, it enables the CEO to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders to fulfil the executive mandate for the region. This is not an administrative role; it is highly strategic and facilitative that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role. As the CEO’s ‘trusted counsel’, the role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical skills. This position reports directly to the CEO Asia Pacific, and interacts frequently with executive teams and employees with support from relevant functional teams.

Support the CEO and APAC Executive Team in defining and executing the Must Wins, long term strategic ambition and priorities; also act as sounding board/advisor to them.
• Portfolio project owner for APAC including tracking of investment business cases, define and implement Must Wins, project management on regional individual initiatives/projects as part of the New CorSo strategy.
• Leading and supporting specific transformation initiatives at both Regional and Country level
• Support APAC region on strategic Opex management topics
• Lead resource planning to develop and capitalise business opportunities; support annual financial planning and budgeting process; closely track and monitor Regional KPI performance.
• Manage several APAC Committees including driving the agenda and reporting of the APAC Executive Team, monitoring the relevant actions and take meeting minutes and spearhead ad-hoc workstreams based on annual project plans as needed
• Identify priorities and bring pertinent issues to the CEO's attention in an organized, succinct manner, strategically align CEO time and handle interactions with key stakeholders on those. Drive initiatives and resolutions from conception to completion.
• Act as a key thought partner, brainstorming & identifying solutions to challenges. Converts ideas into smooth operations and establishes structure and processes to build efficiencies
within the highest ranks of the organization.
• Build cohesion among peer group and colleagues, find common ground to build trust and inspire engagement towards corporate priorities.

 

About You

• 5 plus years of experience in reinsurance/insurance/financial services industry, preferably in wide-ranging or cross-functional areas

• Strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems and a steel-trap with confidential information
• Strong skill of managing expectations and deadlines in face of complexity, conflicting pressure and ambiguous circumstances
• Excels at building relationships and networks; influences others to achieve outcomes
• Systems and process-thinker; loves creating order out of chaos
• Comfortable behind the stage, supporting the person in the spotlight; thrives on helping others be their best selves and anticipating their needs before they are spoken
• Trustworthy to the CEO and senior management and able to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Show drive and agility with a "can-do" attitude
