About the Role 

As the Executive Assistant, P&C Re SID, you will be an integral part of our Market Unit APAC Operations Team, reporting to the P&C Re Assistants Team Leader SID. You'll be the engine behind seamless executive operations — managing complex schedules, coordinating high-profile visits, driving event logistics, and acting as a trusted liaison across a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders. This is a role where no two days are the same, and your contributions will be felt across the entire P&C Reinsurance business in APAC. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Executive Support: Manage complex calendar coordination, travel arrangements, and high-level communications with professionalism and discretion, including preparing polished draft emails on behalf of the Market Unit Head SID and other stakeholders as agreed. 

 

Executive Visit Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of leadership visits — from crafting detailed itineraries and aligning stakeholders to providing seamless on-site support. 

 

Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a key connection point between internal teams and external contacts, ensuring smooth and timely communication flows at all levels. 

 

Event & Market Engagement: Coordinate engaging offsite events and collaborate with Marketing to deliver impactful external market events for P&C Re. 

 

Team Collaboration: Ensure smooth day-to-day collaboration within the Assistant Teams, working closely with the MU Operations Officer and the L&H Assistants, and providing mutual support and deputisation as needed. 

 

Operational Excellence: Uphold confidentiality, champion continuous improvement, and actively support the adoption of new tools — including Generative AI — to drive efficiency and innovation.

About the Team 

The Assistants Team SID is part of the P&C Re Executive Office, Market Unit APAC Operations Team. We are tasked with supporting both the Market Units and the Central Units, while coordinating with Risk Management and the Group Functions. We connect, enable, and execute to ensure the overall success of P&C Reinsurance. 

 

About You 

You are a highly experienced administrative professional with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders and teams in a fast-paced, international environment. You are proactive,resourceful, and confident managing competing priorities with grace, professionalism, and discretion. You build trust effortlessly, communicate with impact, and bring a solutions-focused mindset to every challenge. 

 

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements: 

 

Executive-level administrative experience — a strong track record of supporting C-suite or senior leadership in a complex, multinational organisation, with demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes calendars, travel, and communications. 

 

Exceptional communication skills — excellent verbal and written proficiency in English with the ability to craft clear, professional correspondence and adapt communication style for diverse audiences. 

 

Stakeholder management expertise — proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, navigating hierarchy and business etiquette in a global context with cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Tech-savvy mindset — proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a genuine curiosity and comfort in learning new tools and systems, including Generative AI platforms 

Event coordination experience — hands-on experience organising offsites, leadership visits,or external market events, including logistics, stakeholder alignment, and on-site management 

Cross-cultural collaboration skills — experience working across time zones and cultures, with an appreciation for diverse perspectives and ways of working 

Resilience and adaptability — a calm, focused, and solutions-oriented approach when navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high-pressure situations 

Attention to detail — a meticulous approach to all work, from document preparation to scheduling, ensuring accuracy and quality at every step
