HR Advisor

About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you will be a key player in our HR operations and strategic initiatives, providing expert guidance on local labor regulations while supporting new entity setup and implementing forward-thinking HR programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's growth, talent strategy, and employee experience in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR operations for our Manila office, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Develop and implement strategic HR programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness
- Support new entity setup by establishing HR frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with local requirements
- Provide expert guidance on Philippines labor regulations and governance to leadership and employees
- Contribute to workforce planning and talent management strategies that align with business objectives and local market conditions
- Analyze HR metrics and data to drive evidence-based decision making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job descriptions, candidate screening, and onboarding
- Lead strategic HR projects such as culture initiatives, organizational development, and change management programs
- Oversee employee relations matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives
- Administer compensation and benefits programs in compliance with local requirements and company policies
- Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance with changing regulations and identify areas for improvement
- Partner with regional HR teams to implement consistent practices while respecting local requirements
About the Team
You will be part of the HR Southeast Asia (SEA) team, collaborating with HR professionals across the region to deliver strategic HR support and ensure operational excellence.

You are a seasoned HR professional who thrives in dynamic environments and excels at navigating complex regulatory landscapes while driving strategic HR initiatives. Your strong understanding of Philippines labor laws combined with your business acumen and strategic mindset allows you to provide practical HR solutions that support organizational goals while ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of comprehensive HR experience with both operational and strategic responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of Philippines labor laws, regulations, and governance requirements
- Proven experience in new entity setup and establishing HR frameworks from the ground up
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes including recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
These are additional nice to haves:
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Professional HR certifications (PHRP, SHRM, etc.)
- Knowledge of regional HR practices across Southeast Asia
- Experience with HRIS implementation and management
- Proficiency in multiple languages relevant to the Southeast Asian region
- Experience in designing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that drive business results
