About the Role

To provide Program Management Services to allocated Captive Accounts and Complex Accounts from the International Portfolio. 

Managing the end to end process in accordance with the International Program Guidelines on the nominated International Accounts portfolio.  To work with International Program Operations to ensure that all administrative activities in connection with global programs are carried out in time and to a high level of quality

Where required prepare timely processing instructions to the International Program Service Unit, Credit Control, Reinsurance and local offices, so that premiums can be debited and policies issued promptly, ensuring accurate policy records are maintained on Swiss Re Corso systems.  The role also involves working closely with Genpact, Central Service Hub including Network Partner Coordinators, International Programs Processing Service Unit and other Swiss Re Corso departments to ensure resolution of accounting and processing problems.

To be the focal point for all technical matters arising on International insurance programs and to ensure that all Underwriting Associates are fully aware of and in compliance of, all internal Swiss Re Corso and external regulations on all accounts serviced by the Singapore International Program Department

To be the focal point for underwriters and all Swiss Re Corso internal partners requiring advice on the servicing, support and control of captive and multinational accounts.

To attend client/broker meetings and support Swiss Re Corso business development activities, including presenting and demonstrating our global capabilities in respect of captive programmes.

To ensure that Swiss Re Corso Service Standards are met and, if possible, exceeded in the implementation of Global Programmes.

To provide advice and coaching where appropriate to the International Program Underwriting Associates.

To build strong relationships with Clients, their brokers and become the focal and contact point for all service matters relating to their accounts.

To play a leading role at client and / or broker stewardship or new business meetings by providing an overview of Swiss Ro Corso global servicing capabilities.

To work closely with Customer and Distribution Managers, and Underwriters to assist on winning new business acquisitions and all appropriate business support activities.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To ensure that all handled programs are implemented to agreed service standards and corporate guidelines
  • To ensure all captive and complex programs are implemented to agreed control procedures
  • To provide technical advice to International Program Department and other Swiss Re Cosro internal partners as required
  • Mentor Underwriting Associates to guide/support them in account handling activities (producing or servicing)
  • Supporting Swiss Re Corso business development and client relationship activities
  • To manage an allocated portfolio of accounts in line with the Customer and Distribution Managers, and Underwriter's process
  • Communicating and building relationships with Underwriters, Clients/ Brokers, Swiss Re Corso Offices and other external parties.
  • Ensure International Programs are prepared, maintained and completed in accordance with the International Program Department standards.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of all International Programs lines of business to facilitate accurate account management for all work elements.  Provide query resolution, identify risks and offer plans to mitigate these.
  • Assist where required with ongoing Projects that are identified throughout a given year for better improvement to the International Program team
  • Referral Point and Lead as an identified Subject matter Expert within the International Department as defined by the International Program Team Leader i.e. Captives, reinsurance, PULSE, Finance Management.
  • To manage workloads in accordance with Service Level Agreements with each program.
  • Contribute to Pulse system improvements - eg Providing feedback via link system testing and rollout, as appropriate

 

About You

Expert in-depth knowledge of International Programs

Experience of servicing International Insurance programs is essential.

Managed and worked autonomously on a portfolio of work.

Proven ability to be able to lead and influence junior members of a team.

Proven ability to lead, motivate and drive a strong customer service culture within the team.

Proven ability to act as a technical referral point in relation to International Business

Qualifications

A-Levels Standard or equivalent is desirable

Chartered Insurance Institute – Insurance Certificate is desirable

University Degree would be an advantage
