Account Coordinator
Are you interested in combining client strategy, sales enablement and operational excellence within a globally connected reinsurance business? Join our P&C team as an Account Coordinator and work alongside experienced Client Underwriters to support client and portfolio priorities across Australia and New Zealand. The role offers broad exposure, quality mentorship and opportunities to develop your technical, commercial and stakeholder management capabilities.
As a P&C Account Coordinator, you will enable our reinsurance sales and underwriting teams to execute client strategies effectively. You will bring structure and coordination across client, renewal, operational and governance activities, helping the cross-functional team deliver against its commercial priorities with quality, pace and discipline.
Key responsibilities
• Facilitate sales planning by coordinating client strategy papers, engagement plans, and market and client analysis.
• Monitor and support the new business and renewal pipeline, helping the team maintain visibility of priorities, deadlines and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery across underwriting, sales and internal partner teams, ensuring clear ownership and timely follow-through.
• Prepare high-quality client materials, including executive briefings, presentations and marketing content for C-suite and other strategic client interactions.
• Support strategic account management by coordinating longer-term client plans aligned with client, broker and portfolio priorities.
• Coordinate client surveys from nomination and analysis through to communication of results and monitoring of improvement actions.
• Drive operational excellence by improving and standardising local processes, tools and ways of working, and by supporting the effective adoption of change.
• Identify and escalate operational and system-related risks and issues early, working with relevant stakeholders to support effective mitigation.
• Support governance and regulatory compliance, including outsourcing monitoring and the end-to-end coordination of relevant internal and external audits.
• Contribute to regional deliverables across APAC by sharing knowledge, balancing priorities and promoting effective practices across Market Units.
